My goal is to capture photos of your pet(s) that show who they really are as wonderfully unique individuals and members of your family.
Animals show their personalities best where they are most comfortable.  For this reason, I prefer to conduct portrait sessions in the pet's home environment, i.e., their very own "natural habitat."
I have done photography with dogs and cats, am also very experienced in rat and mouse behaviour, and am open to working with other types of animals as well!

What to expect when you book a portrait session:
I will contact you 1-3 days prior to the portrait session to confirm the time/date and ask several questions about the types of portraits you would like done, your home setting, and the likes and dislikes of your pet(s). This will help me to plan your custom photo session.
During the session I will begin by observing your pet and allowing them to get comfortable with me and my equipment, then will take photos in a number of settings as appropriate. This may include indoors, outdoors, at rest, at play, and/or using a formal portrait backdrop. All family members (human and animal) are welcome to participate and be photographed! A pet parent must be with the pet at all times.
3-5 days after your portrait session, I will post edited photo proofs to a private, passworded website for you to access. From this website you can make your selections of products you wish to order, including digital files, prints, and wall art.
